This role sits at the center of our media and finance operations, ensuring campaigns run smoothly from a budgeting, billing, and process standpoint. You’ll partner closely with account teams, external vendors, and internal finance stakeholders to manage client budgets, track revenue, and maintain accurate invoicing and reporting throughout the lifecycle of a campaign.You’ll play a key part in keeping scopes of work organized, monitoring media spend, reconciling budgets on a monthly and quarterly basis, and ensuring all activity is properly documented across systems and trackers. From reviewing WIP reports and timesheet accuracy to supporting growth pipeline updates, this position is essential in driving operational excellence and accountability across teams.We’re open to candidates located anywhere in Eastern or Central Time Zones, including NYC, DC, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Austin and other ET/CT locations.What You’ll DoWork with external vendors & internal finance team for client billing, back‑up & vendor set‑up payment processingDevelop & manage client budget and internal revenue trackersOrganize scopes of work and initiate internal work ordersCreate monthly activity reports and budget trackers for key accountsPrepare monthly client invoices, client back‑up and budget trackersReview all WIP status reports to make timesheet corrections, job transfers and R‑Time conversionsUpdate and maintain budget spreadsheets for all media clientsTrack media spend and ensure alignment with monthly invoicesManage monthly, quarterly, and yearly client budget reconciliationsMaintain and update project list, draft meeting notes for weekly callsAssist the digital team in ensuring new business activity is documented and updated in the growth pipeline trackerCommunicate with various account teams to align on scopes of work, billable hours, and manage accountability for those hours through the duration and conclusion of the campaignExperience That Contributes To SuccessExcellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detailProficient in Excel, Word, and working knowledge of AdobeExperience using financial and operational systems – Maconomy, Mediaocean, and CreatorIQ are a plusAbility to think creatively to operationalize processesGreat multitasking and organizational skills with ability to meet hard deadlinesExperience working in and contributing to an inclusive and collaborative environmentBurson is an equal opportunity employer and considers applicants for all positions without discrimination or regard to particular characteristics.
