DescriptionLocation: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora Department: UCHlth Denver L&D Work Schedule: Full Time, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Nights Pay: $44.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles 13 week assignments available - extension options Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or GED or Military TrainedState Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration1 year experienceBLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS or CPR card must be good through sixty days of hire. At UCHealth, We Improve Lives Summary: Facilitates the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Responsibilities:Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies. Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory. Employees are our number one asset.
