A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM • Full-time schedule with every other weekend requirement • No on-call responsibilities • Nurse to patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1 depending on staffing • Minimum 1-2 years of nursing experience required • At least 6 months of telemetry experience required • Epic experience required • Required certifications: BLS from AHA and ACLS from AHA • RN License in state of employment or compact required • Care for cardiac and telemetry patients (not a stepdown unit) • Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention and evaluation • Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness • Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided • Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families • New hire orientation required within first 30 days with preceptor training • Temporary to permanent position possibility available Facility: This healthcare facility is a full-service hospital providing comprehensive medical services to the community.
