Hardscape Crew Member

Position Summary:This is a full-time, year-round position. The Hardscape Installer typically performs a variety of tasks, which may include creating hardscape features including patios, walkways, driveways and retaining walls. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help bring client's visions to life while ensuring safety and quality on every job site. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction and landscaping while working in a fast-paced environment. Starting pay $18/hour.Hardscape Installer Duties:Assist with the installation of hardscape features such as pavers, stonework, retaining walls, irrigation systems, fences and plantersAssist with loading and unloading work trucks with product and tools.Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape and install materials according to project specifications.Read drawings to understand project layouts and requirements.Operate vehicles and powered equipment.Maintain and repair tools, equipment or structures.Skills & Qualifications:Prior landscaping/hardscaping experienceWilling to work extended hours in inclement weather.Detail and safety oriented.Able to follow specific detail and be self-motivated.Able to learn and develop skills over time.Reliable transportation to and from workExcellent AttendancePhysical stamina to stand for long periods and lift, push and pull heavy materials safely. Must be able to lift/move 75 lbs.Ability to stand, climb, squat, bend, twist and stand for extended periods of timeWilling to work flexible and long hours with weekends sometimes requiredWorking ConditionsCorso's Landscape operates year around with exposure to all seasons and weather conditions. Candidates must be willing to work in cold, hot, humid, rainy, and windy conditions. Employees are responsible for providing their own weather-appropriate attire.
