Landscape Enhancement Crew Leader

DescriptionThe Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.Job Summary* The Crew Leader Enhancement oversees landscape enhancement and maintenance of a crew of 2 or more team members, providing hands-on leadership in landscape enhancement and maintenance, including soil, planting, watering, and insect control. This role ensures that client standards are consistently met, while identifying and implementing operational efficiencies.Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct site inspections and provide hands-on leadership/ guidance for soil, planting, watering, and insect controlEnsure that client standards are met while maintaining operational efficienciesDrive and maintain vehicles, train crew members with strong emphasis on safety, manage schedules, and review charts and reports.Education and Experience:2+ years of landscape install experienceMinimum 1 year of experience in lawn care and landscaping; supervisory experience desired.Minimum 1 year experience managing a 2+ person crewCommercial Driver's license (CDL) with a good recordFamiliarity with landscaping techniques and equipmentExperience running equipment (skid steer, excavator, backhoe, etc.)Able to read architectural drawingsStrong leadership skillsAble to work well with othersReliable transportationPhysical Demands/Requirements:Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs. (mulch, fertilizer, etc.)Ability to load/unload burlaps with plant cuttings onto trailer (up to 50 lbs.)Ability to bend, stoop, and twist continuously throughout the dayWork Environment:Work in/or about situations near direct automotive trafficWork near or about natural bodies of waterAbility to work in extreme conditions - temperatures may exceed 100 degrees FahrenheitAbility to work in direct sunlight for extended periods of timeBrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.This job description is subject to change at any time.Compensation Pay Range:$20-$24/hour depending on experienceBrightView offers a suite or health, wellness, and financial benefits to full-time team members.
