This is a pivotal role in a newly launched private equity firm, offering the opportunity to build the financial and operational foundation of the investment platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-cycle fund accounting, including GL management, NAV, and investor allocations. Additionally, the role involves leading management company accounting, preparing and reviewing investor reports, managing treasury operations, and building robust internal controls and processes. The Vice President will also be a key partner with third-party administrators, auditors, and tax providers, and will support strategic initiatives and ad hoc analyses for senior leadership. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance, Fund Accounting, and Fund Operations position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a preference for a CPA. A minimum of 8 years' of experience is required, along with exceptional attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills. Advanced technical knowledge of partnership accounting, investor capital accounts, and fund operations is essential. The role demands a proactive individual who can take full ownership of fund and management company accounting, and who is capable of scaling the business during a phase of growth.
