For our client, we are seeking a Technical Program Manager Databases to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a Pharmaceuticals & Biotech environment.Location: Seattle, WA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $365,000 – $435,000 annuallyResponsibilities Own the roadmap and execution of database infrastructure strategies Coordinate with a diverse set of partners, including vendors and internal teams Manage relationships and commitments with external vendors and hyperscalers Drive dependencies and trade-offs for critical database operations Create program documentation like roadmaps and risk assessments Facilitate technical decision-making by uniting stakeholders and resolving issuesQualifications 5-7 years of technical program management experience Familiarity with database, storage, or core infrastructure programs Experience managing vendor or cloud provider relationships Knowledge of cross-region, multi-cloud, or hybrid cloud infrastructure preferred Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workstreams across teams Ability to thrive in unstructured environments and create clarity because of ambiguity Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholdersBenefits Visa sponsorship available for candidates Location-based hybrid work policy Encouragement for applicants from underrepresented groups Emphasis on safe and reliable AI infrastructureOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
