Job Title: SAP Technical Program Manager Job ID: 99615 Position Type: Full Time Location: Seattle, WA Role/Responsibilities: HCLTech is seeking a SAP Technical Program Manager to support a large-scale Global Payroll Transformation initiative. This role will drive the implementation and enhancement of payroll integrations between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and outsourced payroll providers, primarily ADP GlobalView. The TPM will partner with HR, Payroll, Product, Engineering, and Vendor teams to ensure employee data is accurately mapped, transformed, and delivered to downstream payroll systems across more than 100 countries. This is a highly visible role supporting multiple payroll implementation programs, country rollouts, and post-go-live enhancement initiatives through 2027 Program Leadership: Lead global payroll transformation initiatives across multiple concurrent workstreams. Drive execution of payroll implementations, country rollouts, and enhancement backlogs. Manage project plans, dependencies, risks, issues, and stakeholder communications. Coordinate activities across internal HR teams, payroll vendors, implementation partners, and product organizations. Payroll & HR Process Design: Facilitate blueprinting workshops with HR, Payroll, and Business stakeholders. Analyze Hire-to-Retire processes and identify payroll data requirements. Define employee data requirements needed to support payroll processing. Evaluate design options and provide recommendations based on business and payroll impacts. Drive requirements clarification and ensure alignment across stakeholders. Examples include: Bank account and payment data requirements Future-dated employee changes Backdated transactions New hire processing Employee lifecycle events Terminations Data conversion requirements Cutover planning and deployment readiness HRIS & Payroll Integration Oversight: Act as the bridge between SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and payroll platforms. Understand how employee data is structured within Employee Central and how it maps into ADP GlobalView and other payroll solutions. Partner with integration teams supporting SAP CPI/BTP integrations and payroll data exchanges. Validate business requirements and ensure alignment with payroll processing needs. Assess impacts of new enhancements, country-specific requirements, and regulatory changes on payroll integrations. Testing & Deployment Support: Support scenario identification and payroll validation activities. Participate in UAT planning, test readiness reviews, and defect management. Drive deployment planning and cutover activities. Ensure payroll-related requirements are addressed prior to go-live. Stakeholder Management: Influence and align stakeholders across HR, Payroll, Product, Engineering, and Vendor organizations. Present solution options and recommendations to leadership and business teams. Drive decisions and execution with minimal oversight. Facilitate discussions across globally distributed teams and functions. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of Program Management or Technical Program Management experience. Strong experience delivering Global Payroll transformation initiatives. Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central. Experience with ADP GlobalView or other enterprise payroll platforms. Understanding of HR Core and Payroll business processes. Experience leading requirements gathering, discovery sessions, and blueprinting workshops. Experience with payroll data mapping and employee lifecycle scenarios. Experience supporting global implementations and multi-country payroll rollouts. Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills. Ability to operate independently in complex, cross-functional environments. Experience working with SAP CPI/BTP integrations. Knowledge of SAP HR/HCM or SAP Payroll. Experience supporting outsourced payroll operating models. Experience working with multiple global payroll providers. Experience supporting large-scale HRIS transformation programs. Experience operating in organizations with 100+ country footprints. Compensation and Benefits A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
