Role descriptionJob Title: Senior Technical Lead - Hogan & MainframeDesignation: Sr. Technical Lead Location: Mph- Client Site, New York, USJob Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with a strong background in software development and a deep understanding of HOGAN methodologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that meet the needs of our clients while ensuring high quality and performance standards. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement. Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software applications using HOGAN frameworks and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure adherence to best practices. Identify and troubleshoot software defects and performance issues, implementing effective solutions. Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and design to deployment and maintenance. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to software development and HOGAN. Mentor junior developers and contribute to their professional growth. Document software designs, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing within the team. Mandatory Skills:Strong knowledge and experience with HOGAN software development methodologies. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python. Experience with database management systems, including SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with software development tools and version control systems (e.g., Git). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Skills:Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Understanding of software security principles and best practices. Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in software development or HOGAN are a plus. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
