Phlebotomist Float

Labcorp is seeking a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Arizona to include, but not limited to primarily in the East Valley and other cities in Phoenix metro as needed.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm; additional days/hours as needed, including rotating Saturdays as neededJob Responsibilities:* Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups* Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.* Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner* Process billing information and collect payments when required* Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis* Maintain patient and specimen information logs* Provide superior customer service to all patients* Administrative and clerical duties as necessary* Travel to additional sites when neededMinimum Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications:* Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or 1 year or more experience as a phlebotomistAdditional Job Standards:* In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency* Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service* Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments* Able to pass a standardized color blindness test* Be at least 21 years of age* Valid Driver's License and clean driving record* Reliable transportation* Flexibility to work overtime as needed* Exceptional customer service* Strong communication skills; both written and verbal* Ability to work independently or in a team environment* Comfortable working under minimal supervisionAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
