We're excited to provide the best education in the best environment to our students!Academies of Math and Science4th Grade Teacher - 2026-2027 School YearLocation: 7301 E Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85209Compensation Range: $48,334.25 - $54,571.89 (DOE)Start Date: Summer 2026Position OverviewAMS is seeking a 4th Grade Teacher to join the AMS Power Campus in Mesa and support scholars as they transition into upper elementary academic rigor.The 4th Grade Teacher will help students develop advanced reading comprehension, structured writing skills, and multi-step mathematical reasoning, preparing them for middle school expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Student AchievementDeliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction aligned with AMS curriculum frameworks.Support student growth in reading comprehension, writing development, and complex mathematical reasoning.Use data-driven practices to guide instruction and academic interventions.Classroom Culture & Student DevelopmentMaintain a structured, respectful, and achievement-oriented classroom culture.Implement PBIS systems and reinforce positive student behaviors.Collaboration & Professional GrowthCollaborate with grade-level teams and instructional leaders to improve student outcomes.Participate in ongoing professional development and PLCs.Family EngagementMaintain strong communication with families regarding student progress and learning goals.Minimum QualificationsCandidates must meet one of the following requirements:Bachelor's degree in Education or Elementary EducationORValid Arizona teaching certificationORMinimum of three (3) years of K-12 teaching experienceAdditional requirements include:Strong classroom management and instructional planning skillsIVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance CardCommitment to serving diverse student populations
