Artist Agent

This Represents is looking to add an experienced Artist Agent to our growing team. The ideal candidate is an outgoing self-starter with a genuine passion for visual storytelling and a deep understanding of commercial production. We want someone with real, hands-on experience — not just familiarity with the industry, but active relationships and a verifiable track record working on large-scale productions.This is a unique opportunity to work closely with the agency’s founder, represent a diverse roster of talented artists, and play an active role in shaping where we’re headed next.JOB DUTIES•   Building and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective clients and artists across all disciplines on our roster — photography, motion, illustration, styling, hair, and makeup•   Growing our client base and generating new business•   Estimating projects and overseeing production budgets for large-scale commercial productions•   Ongoing curation of artist portfolios, both online and print•   Organizing and hosting portfolio shows and client meetings•   Establishing goals and growth plans with artists on the roster•   Consulting on and executing artist career development strategies•   Identifying and recruiting new talent to grow the roster•   Attending shoots when possible to deepen client relationships and support artists on set•   Traveling as needed for meetings and industry eventsREQUIREMENTS•   Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, advertising, photography, or a related creative field•   Minimum 3+ years of artist representation or hands-on commercial production experience•   Active, established relationships with art buyers, creative directors, and producers at agencies and brands•   Demonstrated experience estimating and managing budgets on large-scale productions; familiarity with Blinkbid or similar platforms is a plus•   Honest and straightforward about their experience and capabilities•   A strong editorial eye — portfolio editing and curation is a core part of this role•   Familiarity across creative disciplines — photography, motion, styling, hair & makeup, and illustration•   Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment•   Goal-oriented, motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit•   A natural connector who understands that every interaction is an opportunity•   Genuinely invested in the photography and creative industries — regularly attending gallery openings, book launches, artist talks, and industry events•   Exceptional communication and relationship management skills•   High level of initiative and follow-through•   Working knowledge of social media and marketingBase salary + commission commensurate with experience.
