Good day and thank you for your time in viewing this urgent need for a General Surgeon. My client is looking for a General Surgeon who can help cover gaps in the schedule. This coverage is needed throughout 2017. This need is with a very well respected healthcare organization in Michigan and in my past experiences there General Surgery needs have been filled quickly so if you are seriously interested in picking up additional shifts and diversifying your CV, then please reply back with a copy of your updated CV at your earliest convenience. Shifts will be a mix of office hours/follow ups and call. Doctors see their own patients during regular office hours unless they are out of town. Mostly weekend shifts with some weekday shifts available as well. This position will come with excellent compensation for both clinic and call coverage, as well as paid malpractice, travel and lodging needed! Call is required and there is a 20 minute response time. The surgeon on call has anesthesiologist on site during 6:30am to 3:30pm, then they are on call. It may be a CRNA who is on call with the surgeon. Then the rest of the staff for surgery is called in as well, with the exception of nurses and techs as they are on site. Cases could include appendix, gall bladder, cholecystectomy, general abdominal, bowel obstruction, GI bleeds, scopes etc. Thanks again for your consideration and I look forward to speaking with you soon!
