This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on industrial production equipment, including extruders, knitters, auxiliary equipment, custom equipment, and facility.This position is ideal for a mechanically inclined technician with strong electrical and diagnostic experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.A Day in the Life:Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on injection molding machines and associated auxiliary equipmentTroubleshoot and repair industrial electrical systems, including motors, controls, sensors, relays, and AC/DC drivesDiagnosing mechanical failures involving hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, and drive systemsSupport troubleshooting of PLC-controlled equipment (basic fault tracing and component replacement)Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, ladder logic, and technical manualsMaintain and repair HVAC and facility support systems as neededPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent repeat failuresDocument maintenance activities and work orders in SAPCollaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve equipment uptime and reliabilityParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on OEE, reliability, and process stabilityFollow OSHA and company safety standards including LOTO proceduresEducation:High school diploma or equivalent required.Experience:Required:1+ years' experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment1+ years of industrial maintenance experience working as a mechanic or technician preferredPreferred: Experience in a cGMP environmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:RequiredElectrical diagnostics (120V–480V systems)Hydraulics and pneumatics troubleshootingMechanical systems troubleshooting & repair (bearings, belts, couplings, alignment)Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematicsStrong documentation and communication skillsPreferredMotor controls and VFD troubleshootingWorking knowledge of AC/DC drivesExperience with industrial automation systemsCMMS experiencePhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentFrequently lift up to 50 lbs.; occasionally assisted lifting above 50 lbs.Extended standing and walkingOccasional kneeling, crouching, and crawlingAbility to work safely around energized systems and moving machineryWhat We Offer:CompensationCompetitive PayPerformance Related Bonus where eligibleAnnual merit performance-based increaseExcellent BenefitsMedical benefitsPaid Time Off/Annual LeaveEmployee Referral BonusCareer Advancement Opportunities
