Keep reading.Roberts PolyPro Inc. is seeking a talented Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician to analyze and correct production machines which require the knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical principles in accordance with production specifications and quality standards. The job will also assist in maintaining the Plant‘s electrical systems to provide power for machines, equipment, lighting, and other electrical applications. The position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Are you passionate about this work?Read and interpret electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematic drawings, engineering prints/specifications and/or manufacturing manuals, and/or verbal/written instructions.Install and maintain the Plant‘s electrical system to provide power for machines, equipment, lighting and other electrical applications in accordance with engineering specifications, codes, regulations and safety requirements.Diagnose, isolate, and correct electrical, mechanical and hydraulic problems which include replacement and adjustment of components, integral units, motors, controls, switches, standard devices, valves and gear.Utilize appropriate test instruments, gear and equipment to test and insure compatibility and safety of all circuits, components, switches, controls, etc., to assure correct performance, quality and operation.Strictly follows all safety requirements for ladder usage, hand and power tool operation, forklift and hoist operation, and housekeeping.Ability to climb in overhead structures, beneath machine and in close quarters while performing analysis and repair work.Working knowledge of AC and DC control circuits, including single and 3 phase motor controls.Perform installation, start-up and repair services for production machinery.3rd Shift position Monday through Friday 10:30 p.m. until 7 a.m.What‘s in it for you?There's no monopoly on good ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
