Job Purpose The Product Manager for Chemistry & Physics at FLINN SCIENTIFIC INC will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of educational products related to chemistry and physics. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet market needs and align with the company’s strategic goals. The Product Manager will play a critical role in driving innovation and maintaining the company’s reputation as a leader in science education.Key Responsibilities Lead the product development process for chemistry and physics educational materials, from concept to launch. Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs, using insights to inform product strategy. Collaborate with educators, scientists, and internal teams to design and develop high-quality educational products. Manage the product lifecycle, including updates and enhancements to existing products. Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote new and existing products. Monitor product performance and customer feedback, using data to drive improvements and innovations. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all product offerings. Provide training and support to sales teams and customers, enhancing product knowledge and usage. Prepare and present product proposals and reports to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including educators, suppliers, and industry partners.QualificationsRequired Education: Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Physics, or a related scientific field. A Master's degree or higher is preferred.Required Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within the scientific industry, specifically focusing on chemistry and physics products. Proven track record of successfully launching and managing scientific products from concept through commercialization. Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales, to drive product development and market strategies.Required Skills And Abilities Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex scientific data and translate it into actionable product strategies. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
