Job Summary About the RoleThe Facilities Coordinator oversees daily operations of a 50,000 square foot, single-floor office building in the North Loop, ensuring a safe, well-maintained, and fully functional work environment. This hands-on role coordinates maintenance, janitorial services, inspections, vendors, security, and facility requests while supporting budgeting, planning, and long-term workplace needs. Key Responsibilities Facility Operations Coordinate maintenance, repairs, inspections, and vendor services Track and respond to facility requests and communicate updates Oversee janitorial services, supplies, cleanliness standards, parking passes, and visitor protocols Maintain facility systems, fixtures, and common areas Support office moves, furniture setup, and space planningVendor & Financial Management Serve as primary point of contact for facility-related needs Build vendor relationships and ensure accountability Manage facility budgets, expenditures, forecasting, contracts, and warrantiesSafety, Security & Projects Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Coordinate inspections, emergency preparedness, and after-hours response Support security systems and access control Assist with renovations, reconfigurations, events, and AV support What Success Looks Like in This RoleManage multiple priorities without losing momentum Communicate effectively using diplomacy, technology, and sound judgment Demonstrate adaptability, resourcefulness, and self-sufficiency Take ownership with strong attention to detail Build strong relationships and hold vendors accountable Maintain a customer-focused, proactive mindset Qualifications1+ year experience in facilities or property management Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) Vendor management experience and basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred:Facilities software experience, mechanical aptitude, and project management knowledge Work EnvironmentOn-site role requiring walking, standing, sitting, light lifting, and on-call availability for emergencies.
