Maintenance Mechanic

We are committed to delivering high-quality solutions for both the United States and global markets.POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our manufacturing equipment and facilities. Your expertise will play a vital role in maintaining our commitment to quality and efficiency.MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facilities.Diagnose mechanical issues. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime during maintenance activities.Conduct inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety and compliance with regulations.Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed.Perform electrical troubleshooting, PLCs, as well as mechanical. Determine material, equipment, and supplies to be used. Train maintenance personnel for maximum productivity. Maintain all equipment manuals, equipment warranties, and tool inventories. Review work orders to ensure proper documentation.Troubleshoot production and facility equipment. Repair and/or replace damaged parts. Analyze mechanical / electrical and operational problems and take corrective action.Perform preventive maintenance of equipment. Demonstrate understanding of systems needed to run a GMP facility such as: HVAC, electrical, process systems, plumbing/piping, general maintenance, pest management, both interior and exterior.Advise supervisors of recurring equipment malfunctions and corrective action required.Work with minimum supervision to complete assigned tasks and supervise maintenance tasks when required.MINIMUM/PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:Education:· High school diploma, GED or Equivalent Training/Experience Experience:· Minimum of 3-5 years previous experience as a Mechanic in the pharmaceutical liquid/solid dosage environment is preferred.· Experience in a GMP regulated environment desired and must have worked as a mechanic for manufacturing equipment’s.Facility maintenance experience a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting machinery.Strong technical ability and mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions. Strong math and reading skills essential. Must have strong verbal and written command of the English Language. PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:Able to work after hours and on call as needed; weekend shift support and shutdowns.Frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, stooping, and working/extending overhead, including: Frequent physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs. Using ladders up to 20 ft and working from heights.
