Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance MechanicWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining manufacturing equipment and production systems. This role supports daily operations by minimizing downtime and ensuring all machinery is operating safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsRepair and replace defective components including motors, conveyors, belts, valves, and bearingsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manualsConduct routine inspections to identify potential equipment issues and implement solutionsComplete work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation in maintenance systems (CMMS if applicable)Support equipment installations, upgrades, and changeoversFabricate or modify machine parts as needed using shop tools (welding, machining, etc.)Communicate with production teams regarding equipment status and downtimeMaintain spare parts inventory and assist with ordering materialsFollow all safety procedures including LOTO and maintain a clean work environmentQualifications:High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training preferredExperience in industrial or manufacturing maintenanceStrong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsAbility to troubleshoot and repair production equipment independentlyAbility to read blueprints and technical diagramsExperience using hand and power tools and precision measuring equipmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a fast-paced environmentThis is a Permanent position based out of Wayne, NJ.The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
