Description Fleet PlannerJob Announcement No: 26-051Vacant Position(s): 1Department: Facilities & Fleet ServicesApplications Accepted through Sunday, March 29, 2026.Salary Range: $63,107.20 ($30.34/hr.) - $97,822.40 ($47.03/hr.)Grade: 109Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pmPosition Summary:Under limited supervision of the Fleet Manager, plans and coordinates Fleet activities and programs for all CWS vehicles and equipment, including parts and service repairs. Manages Fleet's Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), computerized Fuel Management System (FMS), and Global Positioning System (GPS).Essential Functions:Assists the Fleet Manager with planning and coordinating the daily operations of Fleet.Responsible for managing the CMMS, GPS, FMS, and all associated reporting and records for those systems.Coordinates and monitors Fleet maintenance and services contracts for vehicle parts and repairs.Manages the Fleet insurance and claims program.Assists the Fleet Manager in the preparation and monitoring of the O & M budget, preparing budgeting and purchasing forms and documents, processing invoices for payment.Serves as the Document Control Representative for the department to ensure compliance with CWS Environmental Management System to include, but not limited to identification, storage, retrieval, and discarding of CWS records in accordance with CWS Records Retention Schedule.Responsible for assisting the Logistics Section Chief with functions of the emergency operations plan.Monitors regulatory compliance schedules, assists in compiling data for reports, maintains records and reports for regulatory compliance, and manages the department's filing system for regulatory programs.Prepares Fleet monthly operating report.May be required to work during emergency conditions.Regular attendance is required.Job performance must conform to all CWS policies and procedures.Specific knowledge of CWS Environmental Management System policy and procedures.Additional DutiesCoordinates work with other departments as needed.Supports fleet management in special projects.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum RequirementsPhysical Requirements, Activities, and Working ConditionsSedentary work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly moves and transports objects.Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.Visually observe and comprehend computer/terminal screens, reports and correspondence for data input and filing.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as but not limited to a telephone, calculator, fax, copier, calculator, scanner and/or microfilm reader / printer.Frequently moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, bulletin boards, etc.Must be able to communicate to exchange accurate information in writing, verbally and with a 2-way radio, to include comprehension of complex oral and written instructions.Ability to receive detailed information through written and oral communications.Education and/or ExperienceAssociate's degree in business administration or related curriculum and three (3) years of progressive experience in administrative duties or a combination of education and/or experience to total six (6) years of progressive experience.
