Senior Platform Engineer -Remote Primary Location : Chicago, Illinois V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an Senior Platform Engineer -Remote for our premier client Remote. Education and Experience " 8+ years in software engineering with a strong focus on distributed systems and backend platformsExperience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and data stores (SQL/NoSQL)Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and incident managementProven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor senior engineersExperience with streaming platforms, distributed caching, and high-throughput systems Knowledge and Skills: Deep knowledge of distributed architectures, microservices, and event-driven systemsProficiency in languages such as Java, Go, or PythonStrong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Kubernetes)Knowledge of security best practices for distributed systemsFamiliarity with observability frameworks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) Interested?
