Our client became the first new sidewalk scaffolding design on the market in over 50 years in NYC and was bestowed the exclusive right to produce sidewalk scaffolding that differs from the traditional “hunter green” New York City Building Code-mandated standard. Our client has advanced their brand through a commitment to innovation and high-touch service. Urban Umbrella’s innovative design is now protected by several U.S. Design and Utility Patents. Today, they are the leading alternative to traditional scaffolding approved for usage in not just New York City but nationally and internationally. Unlike traditional sidewalk sheds, they are known for their sleek white design, stylized arch-like bracing, and transparent roofing capabilities. Director of Sales – National TerritoryThis role will be responsible for driving national revenue expansion by developing a portfolio of clients through new territory development, prospecting, expansion of existing accounts, and building strategic relationships with high-value clients. The Director of Sales will position the company as the premium alternative to traditional scaffolding across major markets, working with architects, developers, contractors, property managers, brands, and municipal stakeholders.The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of “hunter” mentality and strategic account leadership, with experience selling into construction, real estate development, or design-driven environments.Key ResponsibilitiesNational Territory Growth & Market ExpansionClient Portfolio Development (New Business)Expansion of Existing AccountsStrategic Account DevelopmentCross-Functional Leadership & Brand RepresentationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field preferred. 4-10 years of B2B sales experience, with a focus on national or multi-regional territories. Proven success in new business development, territory expansion, and strategic account management. Experience selling into construction, real estate development, architecture, or related industries strongly preferred. Demonstrated ability to build and scale a client portfolio from the ground up. Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles. Willingness to travel nationally.
