Senior Strategic Account Leader, Strategic Accounts

Amazon Web Services is leading the Cloud industry through the largest shift in computing. As part of our rapid growth and expansion, we are looking for a Strategic Accounts Sales Leader to take the team that drives the strategy and relationships with AWS's largest revenue accounts in the Americas to the next level. The leader will hire and develop a seasoned sales team and manage a matrixed technical field team, to execute on this strategy, resulting deeper relationships, joint go-to-market initiatives, and even broader utilization of Amazon Web Services in a multinational customer base. This leader will be responsible for all aspects of the team, including ensuring customer satisfaction, revenue achievement, driving the growth strategy, and nurturing the executive relationships with both AWS and the customers. This role will manage the goals, objectives, and performance of the team. The leader will have good executive presence and have previously managed senior Account Managers on complex accounts. We are looking for a creative and motivational leader with a customer obsessed approach.Key job responsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive plan for the team.Drive revenue, increased adoption, and market share increase.Drive engagements at the CxO level and with Line of Business Leaders across complex organizations.Understand and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services to accelerate customer adoption. Make certain each member of the team is deeply trained and articulate.Work with partners (System Integration Partners, Channel Partners, Network Providers, Independent Software Vendors) to extend reach & drive adoption.Further define and deliver the overall strategy and governance in a growth environmentPrepare and deliver business reviews to the AWS senior leadership team.A day in the lifeAWS values diverse experiences. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
