Software & System Development Engineer
Role Overview: This position involves supporting the development of hardware and software technologies to enhance vehicle comfort, safety, and user experience, focusing on creating a top-tier infotainment platform aligned with C.A.S.E. (Connected Autonomous Shared Electrification) and Quality principles.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct electrical hardware and software testing, including hands-on performance assessments and maturation testing across configurations.Manage supplier relationships by guiding selected suppliers through design and maturation schedules.Develop clear documentation such as reports, presentations, and technical records of development activities.Capture and specify critical system requirements for hardware, software, and communication components based on customer needs.Analyze test results to interpret performance and predict failures, providing necessary data for product improvement.Effectively communicate development progress and schedule status across departments.Research and influence future infotainment system architecture, features, and development methods.Propose and justify new functions to meet market demands, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.Qualifications & Skills: A bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering is required; 0-2 years of related experience is preferred.Work Conditions: Involves vehicle testing, physical activity, and exposure to various environmental conditions, with some standing, walking, reaching, and handling equipment.Benefits & Growth Opportunities: Competitive salary, industry-leading benefits, career advancement, education reimbursement, and additional programs supporting personal and professional development.Honda values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, fostering an inclusive environment for all applicants.
