The Department of Internal Medicine is nationally recognized for excellence in clinical care, education, and research, with robust training programs and a strong commitment to advancing patient-centered outcomes.Job Summary The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Infectious Diseases & Geographic Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a faculty physician at the Assistant Professor level or higher. This position offers a balanced academic role with a strong emphasis on inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases clinical care, alongside teaching and scholarly activity.The successful candidate will provide infectious diseases consultation and longitudinal care at Parkland Memorial Hospital and/or Clements University Hospital. Potential opportunities include attending on general infectious diseases services (both teaching and non-teaching services), the musculoskeletal infectious diseases service, and the HIV inpatient service, based on candidate s interests and expertise. Outpatient opportunities include providing care in the general infectious diseases clinic at Parkland or UT Southwestern and providing HIV care at the Parkland ACCESS Clinic, a Ryan White funded clinic. Faculty are expected to build an academic career with a focus on patient-oriented outcomes research and/or medical education, teaching learners ranging from medical students to residents and fellows.Position HighlightsProvide inpatient and outpatient infectious diseases consultation at Parkland Memorial Hospital and William P.
