We are seeking highly skilled Locum Nurse Practitioners to join our team, providing essential General Medicine services on a flexible, PRN basis. In this role, you will perform compensation and pension examinations, separation health assessments, and interview-based evaluations with minimal physical assessments. You’ll work mainly within your own office location, covering regions within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln and Lebanon, NH, with a schedule of either half or full days. This opportunity is ideal for providers with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine, particularly those with experience in compensation and pension exams. Required Skills: Active Nurse Practitioner license in appropriate jurisdiction Proven experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or related fields Strong assessment and interview skills Ability to perform physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing Excellent documentation and report submission abilities Ability to work independently within a defined geographic area Nice to Have Skills: Experience with VA or military veteran populations Prior experience performing compensation and pension exams Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote documentation Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree or higher in Nursing from an accredited institution Current national certification as a Nurse Practitioner At least 1-2 years of clinical practice in general medicine or related specialties Experience with compensation and pension evaluations is advantageous but not mandatory Other Requirements: Own office setup within a 50-mile radius of designated locations Ability to commit to ongoing, flexible PRN assignments Willingness to complete required training and onboarding No prescribing or treatment responsibilities Travel costs are included in the hourly rate; no additional reimbursements for certifications or portal training Compensation: Hourly Rate: $402.00 Flat rates for exam shifts: $600 (4 hours or less), $1200 (5 hours or more) One-time Bonus: $650 for completing all initial training and first exams Paid sick time and comprehensive benefits package included This is a tremendous chance to advance your career while serving those who have served us.
