Details 34-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio Mixed patient population requiring drips and titrations Floating may be required to Marion ED (freestanding campus) and Jones Regional Medical Center Epic EMR experience required Requirements Active Iowa (IA) single-state or compact/multistate RN license required Minimum 24 months of ED/Emergency Department experience required Must have completed a travel contract within the previous 18 months Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA), PALS (AHA), TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS may be obtained during onboarding) De-escalation certification (CPI, MAB, MOAB, or SAMA) highly preferred; may be obtained during onboarding Epic EMR experience required Driver's license required for consideration Supervisory professional reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration Additional Information Scrub colors: black, navy blue, or Caribbean blue solids only Candidates who have been employed by the client within the past 12 months may not be eligible Travelers are expected to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving week (11/26–11/30) and the Christmas/New Year's window (12/23–1/2), regardless of holidays worked American Traveler Job ID P-687109.
