OverviewStaffing Coordinator This position will oversee staff scheduling and assist with screening job applicants for nursing services positions including: nursing aides, CNAs, QMAs, LPNs and Registered Nurses. Work today, get paid today!Monthly Celebrations and recognitionsMedical, Vision and Dental Insurance$5,000 Tuition Reimbursement Per YearQuarterly Education Bonus ProgramResponsibilitiesStaffing Coordinator Primary ResponsibilitiesCollaborating with the DON or ADON in the recruitment, interviewing and selection of nursing services personnel including CNAs, QMAs and Staff NursesEnsuring that adequate staff is available to meet the needs of the residents per facility policy and State Regulations, including assisting with replacement of absent personnel and covering scheduling gapsPerforming new hire orientation functions such as a Drug Test, Annual PPD and other requirementsCoordinating assignments for CNAs and QMAs and daily staffing assignment sheets as directed, including creating per pay period staffing schedules and ensuring employees are apprised of scheduling changesComplying with safety requirements, infection control measures, and maintaining a clean work environment in accordance with facility policyUsing protective devices appropriately and supervising their useAbiding by all emergency protocols for crash carts, resident codes, fire safety, missing residents, tornado preparation, violent residents, Wander guard alarms, door alarms, and other facility policies as assignedReporting any forms of abuse witnessed or known and taking appropriate action according to policy and in collaboration with AdministratorFollowing infection control and universal precautions proceduresFollowing periodic cleaning schedules for equipment and returning equipment to proper area after useEnsuring the nursing service work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary mannerPerforming other duties as assigned by Director of Nursing (DON)QualificationsHave a valid RN, LPN or CNA license in the State of IndianaHave a thorough understanding of the principles of safe, effective nursing practicesA working knowledge of the use of personal computers, e-mail accounts and other software programs such as Word, Excel and ADP, as well as minor office machines such as faxes and copiersParker Health and RehabilitationJ-18808-Ljbffr
