Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting

Company Overview:A leading fintech company specializing in bond trading, providing a marketplace with over 1,600 institutional participants to enhance price transparency and competition. They are seeking a Senior Manager for SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to ensure accurate and timely reporting in a regulated, self-clearing broker-dealer environment.Job Responsibilities:Prepare and review Forms 10-K and 10-Q, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.Draft and review financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and other required disclosures.Own 10-K and 10-Q document quality control including iXBRL tagging and comment process.Monitor new and evolving U.S. GAAP and SEC rules, regulations, and disclosure requirements.Support monthly accounting close and reporting processes.Serve as main point of contact with external auditors on quarterly reviews and annual audits.Oversee compensation accounting and equity administration team.Design and maintain strong internal controls and documentation.Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.Qualifications:8+ years progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and regulated financial services exposure.CPA in good standing.Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP accounting standards, including ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805.Experience overseeing compensation accounting and complex accrual judgments.High level of technology fluency, including advanced Excel and financial reporting systems.Broker-dealer experience and FINRA Series 27 preferred; ability to obtain Series 27 within six months required.Compensation: Salary: $175,000 – $235,000, Plus BonusThe post Senior Manager, SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting appeared first on Landing Point.
