Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst - ON SITE
We are looking for a Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst responsible for financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, data analysis, reporting, month-end close support and variance analysis. This position ensures data integrity and presents actionable financial insights to senior management to optimize performance.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and improve complex financial models and projections to forecast future performanceAssist in annual budget preparation and conduct monthly/quarterly variance analysis, explaining differences between actual results and forecastsPrepare comprehensive financial reports for senior leadership to drive strategic decisions and identify opportunities for optimizationDevelop, track, and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate company financial healthIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial processes and systemsPartner with departments across the company to gather data and provide financial insightsIdentify potential financial risks and recommend strategies to minimize them. Run reports for month end and year-to-date as neededAssist in quarterly audits by preparing assigned reports or providing documentation as directed by the CFORequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required; MBA or certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are highly preferredMinimum two (2) years of progressive experience in finance, budgeting, or accounting roles, preferably in healthcare or hospital settingsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, macros, complex formulas) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion)Strong ability to analyze large datasets and translate them into actionable business insightsExcellent presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
