Senior Litigation Associate

Our client, a reputable mid-size national law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5+ years of defense-side complex litigation experience to work in their Union County, NJ office. Ideal candidates will bring meaningful experience managing sophisticated matters independently, as well as a desire to grow a book of business.About the RoleQualified candidates will have significant experience handling complex litigation matters from inception through resolution, including:Drafting and responding to pleadingsManaging written and electronic discovery, including e-discovery strategyDrafting and arguing dispositive and non-dispositive motionsTaking and defending depositionsLeading or substantially participating in mediations and trialsMentoring junior attorneys and collaborating with litigation teamsWhile prior employment law experience is preferred, we are equally interested in senior litigators from other defense-side complex litigation practices who demonstrate a strong interest in developing an employment law practice and contributing to firm growth.What We’re Looking ForSuccessful candidates will bring:Excellent academic credentialsAdvanced writing, analytical, and advocacy skillsThe ability to manage multiple complex matters in a fast-paced environmentA collaborative mindset, empathy for teammates, and a strong commitment to client serviceInitiative, sound judgment, adaptability, and leadership presenceInterest in business development and long-term practice growthAdmission to the New Jersey and New York Bars are requiredAbility to work on-site in the Union County, NJ officeTo apply, please send a cover letter, resume, a copy of your law school transcript, and a brief writing sample (10 pages max) to partners@stonegateworkforcegroup.com.
