Senior Technical Designer- Denim

Title: Technical Designer- DenimLocation: New York, NY- hybridSalary: $100,000+Well established fashion company is seeking a Technical Designer with minimum 5 year of experience in denim. Knowledge of Patterns and grading is a plus. This opportunity offers room to grow in an environment with work life balance.ResponsibilitiesSubmit detailed sketches along with tech packs including measurements and size grading.Collaborate with design team assisting with initial spec.Update Technical Packages to be sent to in house factories and overseas vendors including construction sketch, construction description, and garment proposed specs.Follow up fit samples for construction and measurement accuracy.Evaluate each garment spec measureYarns, stitches and construction detail.Review with vendors on grading and/or construction corrections that are required.Must be able to solve problems and identify fit problemsQualificationsCollege degree or equivalent work experienceProficient in PLM, is a plus, Microsoft Excel.Knowledge of Patterns, Grading and Garment constructionyears technical design experience in including knowledge of activewearProficient in PLM, is a plus, Microsoft ExcelWalmart experience is a plusIndustryStaffing and RecruitingEmployment TypeFull-timeEdit job descriptionShow lessScreening questionPreferred qualifications
