Payroll Specialist

Shift and Time: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday Entity: DFC Company This position will work out of the new headquarters for DFC Company right off I-94 and Sheyenne Street!Summary:Assist with processing payroll for weekly and bi-weekly schedules.Support certified payroll and EEO-13 reporting needs (training provided).Help prepare and submit payroll-related tax deposits for federal and state requirements.Assist with processing garnishments and child support payments.Review and verify daily timecards for approval and accuracy.Help set up new managers/supervisors in the timekeeping system and assist with basic training.Review vacation and holiday pay requests for compliance with company policies.Monitor the HR-Payroll email inbox and help respond to employee questions in a timely manner.Provide support to the Payroll Manager with distributing annual W-2 and 1095 forms.Complete quarterly unemployment audit requests with guidance.Assist with collecting updated NDW-R and W-4 tax forms during the annual update period.Perform other department support tasks as assigned by the Payroll Manager. Experience and Skills Required: Demonstrated familiarity with payroll processes or payroll systems.Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Payroll, or related field is a plus.
