Warehouse Inventory Lead | Elk Grove Village, Illinois | Salary up to $80,000This role will be responsible for managing inventory across multiple U.S.-based 3PL partners, ensuring accurate stock management, reporting, billing, and operational efficiency.The candidate will have strong experience in warehouse inventory management, third-party logistics coordination, and transportation/distribution operations, along with hands-on experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary up to $80,000Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and company holidaysOpportunity to work in a growing logistics and supply chain environmentCollaborative and team-oriented cultureKey ResponsibilitiesInventory & Warehouse ManagementManage and maintain inventory across all U.S. 3PL warehouse locationsMonitor stock levels, inventory accuracy, and reconciliation processesInvestigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and exceptionsCoordinate inventory reporting, billing verification, and operational auditsConduct periodic visits to 3PL warehouse sites to ensure operational compliance and service qualityCollaborate with internal teams and external logistics partners to improve inventory flow and efficiencyDistribution & Transportation CoordinationManage distribution activities for LTL and FTL shipments across the U.S.Coordinate transportation procurement and carrier selectionTrack shipments and provide timely updates to internal stakeholdersResolve shipment delays, damages, or transportation exceptionsReview and manage freight billing and transportation-related reportingMaintain strong communication with carriers, 3PLs, and internal departmentsQualificationsExperience in warehouse inventory management and logistics operationsStrong understanding of 3PL operations and supply chain processesExperience managing LTL and FTL transportation activitiesHands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and vendor management skillsProficiency in inventory reporting, billing review, and operational trackingPreferred QualificationsExperience working with multiple warehouse locations or national distribution networksKnowledge of freight procurement and transportation management practicesAdvanced Excel or reporting system experience is a plus
