The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and achieving ambitious sales targets, developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy, and leading a high-performing sales team. This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly within the lumber and building materials industry, and the ability to collaborate with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with the company's strategic goals.Key responsibilities for the Vice President of Sales include revenue growth, sales strategy development, team leadership and development, customer relationship management, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales leadership, with at least 5 years in the lumber and building materials industry, is required. The role also demands excellent leadership, team management, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in sales software and analytics tools. The candidate should be prepared for a 50-hour work week in markets, with weekly travel, and bilingual proficiency is preferred.Travel Percent
