The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the company's efforts in direct customer acquisition, with a focus on developing and delivering tailored energy solutions. This role involves close collaboration with marketing and business development teams to identify, evaluate, and close new opportunities with prospective clients. Key duties include structuring and finalizing power purchase and offtake agreements, as well as cultivating long-term client partnerships. The VP will also be expected to support business development initiatives, act as a hands-on leader and mentor to the origination team, and ensure the company meets its annual capacity targets. Applicants must have a minimum of seven years' of experience in driving revenue growth or strategic partnerships within the clean energy or renewables industry, with a proven track record in structuring and closing commercial contracts. A solid knowledge of U.S. electricity markets and regulatory frameworks is strongly preferred. The role requires exceptional communication skills, strong quantitative aptitude, and the ability to lead and mentor high-performing teams. The VP will be expected to stay informed on industry advancements, policy changes, and competitive positioning, and to actively participate in internal and external company communications.
