Description What You Will Do to Change LivesAtGateway to Recovery , we don't just treat symptoms; we support people. As ourSubstance Use Recovery Specialist , you are a core member of ourAssertive Community Treatment (ACT)team. You will work with adults and Transition Age Youth (TAY) in San Diego County who are navigating both mental health challenges and substance use disorders. This is community-based, "on-the-ground" work where you help members transition from long-term care back into the lives they want to lead.The Dual-Diagnosis Expert:You'll serve as the primary support for members, focusing your expertise on substance use and addiction to help them live independently.The Community Navigator:This isn't an office-bound role. With a strong commitment to recovery and inclusion, Gateway to Recovery offers intensive, person-centered services designed to promote independence and wellness.
