Job Description Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – ECMO SpecialistSpecialty: Respiratory / Neuro DiagnosticsLocation: Minneapolis, MN 55407Shift: Night Shift (3 x 12.5-hour shifts | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)Schedule: 3 days/week (37.5 hours)Duration: 13 weeksCharting System: Epic / ExcellianPosition SummaryA healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – ECMO Specialist with strong critical care expertise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on ECMO experience and be confident managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced clinical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and manage ECMO systems for critically ill patientsDeliver advanced respiratory care in adult critical care settingsAssist with airway management procedures, including intubation and extubationManage and troubleshoot ventilators (BiPAP, CPAP, SIMV)Administer respiratory medications and therapiesPerform arterial punctures and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)Support procedures such as bronchoscopy and pulmonary hygieneManage oxygen therapy systems, including high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC)Assist with patient transport as neededMaintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with protocolsFloat within scope of practice as requiredRequirementsMinimum 2 years of RRT experienceMinimum 1 year of ECMO Specialist experience (required)Experience in adult critical care settingsStrong ventilator management and airway procedure skillsAbility to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environmentCertifications RequiredRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)BLS (Basic Life Support)PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)Active state license (or pending at submission; must be active before start)Additional DetailsEvery other weekend requiredOn-call responsibilities as neededOccasional rotation to day shifts possible (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM)Local candidates acceptedUp to 5 days of requested time off preferredFacility may cancel up to 3 shifts without penaltyFor more details reach at vgill@navitassols.com or Call / Text at 516-862-1203.About Navitas Healthcare, LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical, Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
