OverviewThis person will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time basis in biology courses, which may include; Anatomy and Physiology (lecture or laboratory or both).QualificationsEDUCATIONBachelor's Degree in Anatomy & Physiology or closely related discipline. RequiredMaster's Degree in Anatomy & Physiology or closely related discipline. PreferredCoursework in or experience using computers in instruction. PreferredExperienceTeaching Anatomy & Physiology at the secondary or college level for at least two semesters, both lecture and laboratory. RequiredAbilities And SkillsFamiliarity with laboratory safety procedures. RequiredInterpersonal skills necessary to deal effectively and courteously with students, staff, and the public. RequiredSensitivity to the expectations of students, faculty, and staff. RequiredAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in written form. RequiredDeveloped organizational skills. RequiredResponsibilitiesInstruct and evaluate students in biology courses which may include; Anatomy and Physiology (lecture or laboratory or both).Maintain accurate written records of student performance.Take attendance and maintain records of student attendance.Participate in School assessment process.Maintain office hours according to the standardized part-time teaching agreement.Physical Standards and Special Job FeaturesExposure to various chemicals and preservatives.Pay Transparency The part-time rate for 2025/26 will be the greater of $1160 per credit or $773 per contact hour, prorated for student enrollment under seven.
