Full-time or Part-timeHigh school student assistants – $18.00/hourAssistant Teachers – starting at $18.50/hour (based on education and experience)Start Date: 8/31/2026Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe Grace Beginnings Academy PreK Assistant Teacher is passionate about supporting and caring for 4-5 year-olds in a Christ-centered environment. The ideal candidate models Christ-like patience and grace, works collaboratively with the lead teacher, and helps support each child’s growth in their physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development. This role assists in implementing lessons and activities that are Christ-centered and rooted in play and exploration. This is a year-round position, either full-time M-F 7:15a-3:45p OR a part-time position MWF 7:15a-3:45p.Support the educational experiences in the classroom as directed by the classroom teacherAssist in the completion of documenting daily activities, and incident/behavior reports as directed by the classroom teacherEffectively communicate and collaborate with the classroom teacher to support daily routines, classroom management, and the overall learning environmentAssist the classroom teacher in maintaining a safe, clean, organized classroom and assume the responsibility to complete the duties required to maintain an orderly facility.Assist in prepping learning materials as directed by the classroom teacher. Approach behavioral issues that arise with children with Christ-centered love, respect and patienceAt drop off or pick up foster positive relationships with parentsFacilitate the classroom routines and activities when the classroom teacher is absentAttend all required training and staff meetings throughout the year.
