Preschool Classroom Support & After School ManagerLake Area Discovery Center at Valley of Peace Lutheran Church - Golden Valley, MNLake Area Discovery Center is hiring a Preschool Classroom Support / After School Manager for our high-quality early childhood program located at Valley of Peace Lutheran Church in Golden Valley. This is a full-time, year-round position working 35+ hours per week, Monday-Friday from 10:00 AM-5:30 PMWe are seeking a dedicated early childhood professional who enjoys supporting preschool classrooms, building relationships with children and families, and leading a safe, engaging after-school preschool program. Position ResponsibilitiesProvide classroom support in toddler and preschool classrooms Assist with daily program operations and classroom management Serve as Site Manager and Preschool Lead Teacher for the After-School Preschool Program from 3:00-5:30 PM Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development Maintain a nurturing, positive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and administration QualificationsMust meet Minnesota DHS Lead Teacher qualifications for education and experience Experience in early childhood education, preschool, childcare, or child development preferred Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Passion for working with young children in a play-based learning environment Pay & Benefits$20.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on education and experience Year-round employment 64 hours PTO (prorated) Eight paid holidays Paid training and continuing education opportunities About Lake Area Discovery CenterLake Area Discovery Center has been serving children ages 6 weeks through Pre-Kindergarten since 1999.
