ESP Lead Mentor
General Purpose of Job: To inspire and prepare all students with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.ResponsibilitiesMaintain ongoing contact and support to Mentees and MentorsProvide leadership and guidance to mentorsTroubleshoot challenges and provide a framework for moving forwardParticipate in planning and facilitating of district-wide Mentor Program meetingsAct as liaison to Human Resources, Student Services Coordinators, and Osseo ESP PresidentPresent summary reports, data and findings to stakeholdersRequired QualificationsCurrently employed in Osseo School District as an ESP with at least 2 years of experienceIn good standing (reliable attendance within the last 12 months) and meeting the expectations of their jobStrong written and verbal communication skillsCompletion of Equity Foundational Training 1.0 and 1.5Skilled InCommunicating effectively in verbal and written formatsUsing positive behavior intervention strategiesResolving conflict effectivelyPromoting positive environmentsWorking in a flexible and adaptable manner with a tolerance for ambiguityModeling the attributes of an efficacious learner: resourceful, self-directed, responsible, problem solver and skilled communicatorRelating to the areas in which the new hire mentee is assignedKnowledge of best practices for new hiresWorking with varying learning styles and needs, both academic and social emotionalOrganizing and prioritizingDeveloping collaborative working relationshipsUsing computer software such as email, Microsoft Office, and Google DrivePreferred QualificationsPrior leadership experience preferredPosition Type: CasualLocation: Various SitesStipend/Work Schedule: $1,500; Work for this assignment must occur outside of their regular work hours.
