We are looking for an Accounts Receivable specialist to join our team! The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for collection of invoices within portfolio of accounts, resolve invoice/payment discrepancies that may arise, ensuring that delinquent accounts are collected in a timely manner, and apply strategies that will optimize cash flow. This individual will need to provide outstanding customer service and build partnerships with both internal and external customers. Here's what this position is all about... Account Delinquency and Reconciliation Management Responsible for managing/monitoring a portfolio of Accounts Receivable customers/accounts. A collections focused role Review aging of accounts within portfolio to determine collection efforts required as well as timely collections of accounts receivable. Work in a team environment that promotes collaboration, effective approaches to reach goals, and respectful of others' idea/opinions, all of which will provide an environment of exceptional results. Maintain integrity, respect and excellent customer service with internal/external customers through verbal and written communication. Maintain open communication with sales/management regarding accounts that are past due. Maintain accurate records and reporting on collections activity. Take proactive measures to encourage customers to pay timely based on their payment terms to minimize bad debt exposure. Consult with billing/sales if changes need to be made to invoice(s).
