Payroll & Administration Manager

Job Summary:The Payroll & Administration Manager oversees, and efficiently processes all administrative transactions related to employment, including regular payroll. Must be an expert in payroll processing and work independently to ensure payroll accurately reflects the company's pay policies and complies with state and federal laws. The person in this role will support and work closely with employees at all levels of the organization.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Complete all aspects of preparing and processing bi-weekly US payroll and monthly payroll in Europe (off cycle as needed) using ADP Workforce Now (US) and international platforms to ensure timely and accurate transactions and reporting.Including, but not limited to, accurately processing employee information including hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, taxes, benefits, allowances, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions/ withholding, profile changes, etc.Conduct rigorous reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy.Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations in approximately 10 states and 8 countries.Lead interactions with government agencies as needed.Complete all ADP Workforce Now (HCM Payroll) and Charthop system administration.Proactively perform all payroll related audits and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of all payroll related calculations and timely submission of all required documentation to partners and government agencies.Complete all aspects of employee benefits plan administration (401K, medical, dental, vision, life, etc.) and ensure appropriate deductions for employee payroll transactions.Complete all aspects of stock plan administration.Collaborate with the Accounting team and People & Culture team to facilitate regular audit processes and complete ongoing reconciliation for invoices related to Human Resources programs.Support people and culture scheduling, communication, and other administrative tasks.Required Skills/Abilities:Proven experience as the lead processing payroll for organization with ADP Workforce Now.An ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and possess interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Proven experience interpreting and applying the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareEducation and Experience Requirements:5+ years of experience in payroll required.2+ years of experience processing payroll with ADP Workforce Now.401K and medical plan administration required.Certified payroll professional preferred.European payroll experience preferred.Bachelor's degree preferred.Physical Requirements and Work Environment:Sit and stand for prolonged periods.Repeating motions that may include the hands, wrists and/or fingers.Use of hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.Specific visual abilities, including close vision and ability to adjust focus, read, review, and assess the accuracy and thoroughness of the work assigned.Verbal abilities require communicating with others to exchange information.Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 20 pounds in all directions.The above physical requirements and work environment characteristics generally reflect those of this position but is not an exhaustive list.
