Production Assistant Manager
Production Assistant Manager (Bilingual Korean required)\n\nTimpl has partnered with a 1 tier supplier for a global automobile manufacture\nand is seeking for a Production Assistant Manager. \n\nMAJOR FUNCTION:\n\n * Supervises and coordinates all activities of the manufacturing group.\n\n * Troubleshoots problems and co-originates activities through appropriate\n support groups to ensure support is received. \n\n * Monitors safety, quality, productivity and all other areas of the Plant as\n needed.\n\n * The roles and responsibilities listed are not meant to be all inclusive.\n\n * The needs of the company may require individuals to perform other functions.\n\n * Follow, explain and clarify company policies and procedures to Supervisors.\n\n * Enforce safety regulation.\n\n * Recommend and assist in implementing measures to improve methods, equipment,\n performance, product quality, efficiency improvements through daily\n information sharing and production reports.\n\n * Strive to meet all direct and indirect labor goals\n\n * Address issues of disciplinary action with Supervisors and HR\n\n * Oversee and/or assist in analyzing and resolving worker conflicts and\n problems. Ensure Team members have the tools to perform and meet\n departmental goals and corporate expectations. Coach, counsel, train and\n motivate Supervisors and other Team members.\n\n * Participate, facilitate and oversee evaluations, CFTs, committees, task\n forces.\n\n * Initiate disciplinary action up to and including termination in conjunction\n with the HR Manager.\n\n * Communicate issues to the Plant Manager on a daily basis.\n\n * Support all Plant and departmental initiatives. Promote 5S projects\n throughout the plant.\n\n * Clearly communicate Plant Goals/Expectations and develop/implement plans to\n achieve.\n\n * Mentor/Teacher/Trainer to team members with a particular focus on team\n building, standardized work, lean and continuous improvement methodology.\n\nPREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:\n\n * Demonstrated knowledge of products, processes, people and systems, prior\n automotive and TS16949 experience preferred\n\n * Engineering degree preferred, and/or equivalent experience and proven track\n record.\n\n * 3Demonstrated communication skills both oral and written.\n\n * Strong interpersonal skills & ability to work in a team environment.\n\n * Basic computer skills a must.\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n
