PRODUCTION ASSEMBLY TEAM LEADER \n\nTIMPL HAS PARTNERED WITH A 1 TIER SUPPLIER FOR A GLOBAL AUTOMOBILE MANUFACTURE\nAND IS SEEKING FOR A PRODUCTION ASSEMBLY TEAM LEADER.\n\nPOSITION OVERVIEW:\n\nThis role focuses on overseeing team leadership, ensuring quality and\nproductivity within the assembly team, and executing improvement plans. The\nideal candidate will manage team operations, enforce company policies, and\nmaintain a high standard of safety and efficiency in the production environment.\n\n\nPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\n * Team Leadership and Training:\n\n * Manage the training and development of team leaders and members to ensure\n high performance and adherence to company standards.\n\n * Quality and Productivity Management:\n\n * Monitor assembly team activities, focusing on maintaining high levels of\n quality and productivity across all operations.\n\n * Continuous Improvement:\n\n * Implement and oversee improvement plans to enhance operational efficiency and\n resolve any ongoing issues.\n\n * Report Management:\n\n * Ensure the accurate completion and timely filing of essential production\n reports.\n \n \n CORE DUTIES:\n\n * Production Planning:\n\n * Distribute daily production plans to team leaders and allocate team members\n as needed to meet production goals.\n * Monitor inventory levels of necessary parts (sub, CKD, press) and coordinate\n with specialists or press supervisors in case of shortages.\n\nAttendance and Policy Enforcement:\n\nTrack and manage team leaders' and members' attendance, ensuring adherence to\ncompany policies regarding work area assignments. Enforce safe operations and a\n3C 5S-compliant work environment.\n\nOperational Oversight:\n\nReview inspection sheets, downtime reports, and work reports to ensure accuracy\nand compliance with standards. Assign duties to line keepers, floaters, and\nforklift drivers to maintain smooth operations.\n\nInventory Management:\n\nMonitor the inventory of complete and WIP parts, coordinating with the Sales\ndepartment and production specialists in case of low stock levels or significant\ndowntime.\n\nEquipment and Consumables Management:\n\nOversee the condition and usage of welding tips, ATD blades, and other essential\nequipment. Manage consumables inventory and request supplies as needed.\n\nDowntime Management:\n\nReceive and respond to downtime reports, executing countermeasure plans, and\nreporting results to the production specialist or manager.\n\nAdditional Support:\n\nProvide support for all activities as directed by the production manager or\nplant manager.\n\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n\nEducation and Experience:\n\nBachelor's degree or 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProven experience supervising large teams in a high-pressure environment.\n\nSkills:\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and\nanalyze key performance metrics, such as UPH, C/T, line O/T, and operational\nefficiency. Demonstrated leadership abilities, especially under stressful\nconditions.\n\n\nORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:\n\nAccountability:\n\nReport directly to specialists and managers, providing updates on all assigned\nactivities.\n\nCollaboration:\n\nWork closely with Production Team Leaders and new or existing Production Team\nMembers to ensure smooth operations.
