POSITION TITLE MP&L ASSISTANT MANAGER (Must be bilingual - Korean / English)Visa Sponsorship Available**DEPARTMENT MP&L REPORTS TO MP&L MANAGER LOCATION Statesboro, GA – 100% On-SiteTERMS Direct hire / Full Time – SalariedSUMMARY / OBJECTIVES: The Assistant MP&L Manager to establish and operate efficient material flow and logistics process. MP&L must oversee material planning activity to control purchasing amounts & inventory budget. They will also assist manage Production Control activity including production schedule, to release shipping plan, and material orders to suppliers, to post all receipts and shipments, to analyze production and cycle reports. Foresee and prevent any premium freight, to ensure minimum cost and zero customer line interruption.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Planning Material demand linked to sales forecasts and production schedules to maintain optimal inventory levels. Report Inventory Amount, DOI, and all spending within budgetsManage and control discrepancies in SAP, WMS, MESBuild a list to expedite, and order premium freight (Air freight, Team trucking) for urgent parts in advanceAnalyze root causes all material expedite issues and related cost, and provide reports as requiredManage warehouse operation, space utilization, inventory planning and delivery to plant & customerBuild and manage the delivery schedule of incoming containersThis position must be able to solve problems related to the analysis and evaluation of cost and operational dataCross-Functional Collaboration closely with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Sales teams to resolve operational issues and synchronize plans. Build scenario models to increase inventory efficiency with financial conceptTime clock management of all office staffMake logistic strategy for changing global logistic circumstancesEducation And Experience5-7 Years of MP&L experience, including managing staffBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMandatory proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle). Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.) for data analysis and report generation. Bilingual (Korean/English) RequiredExperience in automotive manufacturing industry strongly preferredSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Manages various employee groups: Supervisors, and salaried and hourly MP&L employees.
