As the top supplier in the residential roof drainage and roofing accessories markets, OmniMax has extensive scale, top brands such as Amerimax, Berger, Verde, and Flamco, and longstanding relationships with the nation's largest home center retailers and building product distributors.Elevate Your Career!We're seeking a skilled individual to join our team as Maintenance PM Technician!Benefits of Working With UsCompetitive compensation including paid time off and holidaysMedical insurance (HDHP with HSA and PPO options)Prescription drug coverageDental and vision insurancePre-tax flexible spending account401(k) retirement savings with employer matchBasic and supplemental life and AD&D insuranceShort-term and long-term disability insurancePre-tax dependent care flexible spending accountWellness program with diabetes prevention, condition care, preventive care, and annual flu shot.Employee Assistance ProgramPRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES & TASKS:Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on production machinery including inspection and repair/replacement on components such as shafts, bearings, chains, sprockets, belts, pulleys, clutches, brakes, hydraulic power units, control panels, sensors, switches, pneumatic components, guarding, safety devices, etc.Perform safety inspections on electrical components and electrical systems.Read layout and fabrication drawings for the replacement of shafts, spare parts, brackets and other additions for plant equipment.Work from drawings, sketches, machine operation and maintenance manuals, work requests, and oral instructions.Perform diversified and somewhat difficult work including analytical troubleshooting and complex maintenance functions.Use a variety of precision instruments and considerable judgment in working effectively and efficiently in diagnosing, dismantling, repairing, lubricating and reassembling units.Using skills to work on general and technical maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatics, pipe fitting, and general machining for items requiring a close tolerance.Rebuild and maintain primary roll forming, stamping, molding, and ancillary equipment throughout the plantDetect Faulty operations and diagnose malfunctions and provide remedy.Maintain specific records of work performed, details of repairs and material usage.QUALIFICATIONS: The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform this job successfully.Education:High School Diploma/ GEDMust have 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or in a similar roleTrade or vocational school graduation preferredElectrical certification a plusExperience:Must have 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanicMust have previous experience and ability to fabricate, repair, replace or properly install:Forming or guide rollsShafts, bushings, sprockets and chainsGuarding and related safety devicesPower transmission componentsReferred 5+ years of experience inspecting and repairing punch pressesAbility to use measuring equipmentKnowledge and ability to operate hand and power toolsWorking with and be able to interpret drawings and specifications.Mechanical aptitude and abilityGood troubleshooting skillsSkills:Experience with manual machining equipment preferredMust have ability to read machine blueprints and assembly drawingsMust be able to use Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Excel and WordMust be able to use CMMS program (Maintain) to document workMust be able to work well with others and provide project leadership on build and repair projectsPrevious machine building experience a plusPosition DetailsFull TimeOnsite: M-F 6:30am-3:00pm (30 min unpaid lunch)Located in: Lancaster, PAWe are proud of our commitment to equal employment opportunities for all qualified job candidates and associates and ask that all associates support diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
