Job DescriptionWe are recruiting for an experienced Director of Finance to support a large complex organization located in the Sacramento region. This leadership role oversees financial operations, provides strategic guidance to executive leadership, and ensures the delivery of accurate, timely, and compliant financial information across the organization. The Director of Finance provides direction to a high-performing financial services team, partnering closely with accounting, operations, and senior leadership to monitor financial performance and support organizational decision-making. This position plays a key role in interpreting financial data, identifying trends, and advising leaders on major issues impacting financial health and long-term strategy. Salary $165,000.00 to $260,000 per year (DOE) This is a hybrid role with regular on-site presence required to support collaboration and business needs. Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop a high-performing finance team. Oversee financial reporting, performance monitoring, and presentations to leadership. Partner with accounting and operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and GAAP alignment. Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analytics. Provide strategic insights on financial trends and operational impacts. Drive process improvements, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency. Communicate complex financial information clearly to diverse stakeholders QualificationsBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field. 12+ years of progressive financial leadership experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proven ability to present financial information to senior leaders. Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: healthcare finance, joint venture accounting, financial modeling, case costing.
