Junior Estimator

Job DescriptionJunior Estimator - ConstructionA growing construction company is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Estimator to join their preconstruction team. This role is ideal for someone early in their construction career who is eager to develop estimating skills and gain experience analyzing project costs, reviewing plans, and supporting the bidding process.The Junior Estimator will work closely with senior estimators and project managers to assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with preparing cost estimates for residential or commercial construction projectsReview project drawings, specifications, and bid documentsPerform quantity takeoffs and analyze material and labor costsAssist with subcontractor and vendor bid solicitationMaintain and update cost databases and estimating softwareSupport the preparation of bid proposals and project budgetsCoordinate with project managers, estimators, and subcontractorsHelp track project costs and assist with cost analysisQualifications0-2 years of experience in construction estimating or construction-related work preferredBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsBasic understanding of construction plans and specificationsStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with estimating software is a plusCompensation and BenefitsSalary Range: $55,000 - $70,000 per yearCompetitive compensationFull benefits packageMentorship and career development opportunitiesOpportunity to grow into an Estimator or Senior Estimator roleFor more information or to apply:Call or Text: Brandon Hill at 743-223-5229 Email: brandon.hill@gogpac.com
